We are pleased to announce that Angiolite DES, offers one of the highest overexpansion capacities for medium and large vessels. This excellent feature helps to choose the most suitable stent size, which ensures a correct stent apposition, independently of diameters disparity along the lesions treated.
Angiolite’s overexpansion capacity is 6.00mm for diameters of 4.00 and 4.50. For small vessels, from 2.00 to 2.50, the maximum overexpansion capacity is 4.00mm. Furthermore, for medium vessels, such as 2.75, 3.00 and 3.50, Angiolite offers 5.25mm as maximum post-dilatation diameter.
The objective of iVascular with this new feature is to bring value to the clinical daily practice in order to enhance the outcomes of complex procedures, as left main and long bifurcated segments.
Angiolite is a DES, indicated for patients with symptomatic ischemic heart disease due to “de novo” stenotic and re-stenotic lesions and patients with occlusive disease due to acute myocardial infarction. It has been specifically designed, and feature alternating links to achieve a homogeneous arterial coverage with high rates of endothelialization due to its fluorinated polymer and TransferWise, proprietary iVascular nanotechnology.
The clinical evidence of Angiolite has been demonstrated in several clinical trials. The most recent being RANGO Registry, which includes high-risk populations. In this registry, Angiolite demonstrates outstanding efficacy and safety profile.
